Jonathan Waterman is an adventurer, author, and photographer who has explored the Arctic 18 times over the past two decades. Waterman will present his talk Arctic Warming, an account of his recent expedition to the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge with famed biologist George Schaller. The trip was sponsored by the National Geographic Society. Together, Waterman and Schaller surveyed the impacts global warming is having on the Arctic environment. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn how global warming is already impacting this special wild landscape.
